Inspired by the vast terrain of the American Southwest, Sophisticated Southwest is a 6-look capsule of light, natural daywear designed to honor both the rugged beauty of the land and the importance of sustainability. Each garment was crafted using 100% natural materials and hand-dyed with plant-based ingredients—including tea, coffee, onion skins, and turmeric—to achieve organic, earthy tones unique to each piece.

The collection’s silhouettes were soft and wearable, echoing the balance of power and stillness I felt while standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon. I developed original patterns, hand-dyed and sewed each garment myself, and used only slow-fashion techniques to minimize waste. With this collection, I sought to prove that fashion can be both beautiful and responsible—rooted in purpose, place, and process.
